Flourishing Vitality

A commissioned artwork created for UOB Commercial Banking

“Flourishing Vitality” is a commissioned artwork by Phuay Li Ying, depicting a dragon soaring across mountainous landscapes with golden cranes symbolising UOB’s key markets across Southeast Asia.

The cranes were personally folded and stitched by Mr Wee and his wife, representing the bank’s connections and opportunities across the region. Created as part of UOB’s Lunar New Year celebrations, the artwork embodies growth, prosperity, and regional unity.

The piece was later auctioned for S$128,000, marking a meaningful moment where art, storytelling, and philanthropy came together.
