Shawls for UOB

An art piece brought to life through fabric — vibrant, expressive, and rooted in storytelling.

Inspired by the scenic beauty of Nanjing, the artwork features layered landscapes, scholars, and architectural elements that reflect a sense of history and cultural depth. In alignment with UOB’s heritage and values, traditional Chinese symbols such as bamboo and peony are thoughtfully incorporated, representing resilience, prosperity, and grace.

In this collaboration, Ying worked with UOB to develop a series of shawls to commemorate the opening of their Nanjing branch — translating art into a wearable form that carries both meaning and identity.
